ANY local animal shelter anywhere, especially in an area that's struggling. I'm particularly interested in campaigns that encourage people to spay and neuter their dogs and cats, to properly care for their dogs and cats, and to not purchase birds, fish or any exotic animal as pets or for display.
Any local nonprofit theater, local dance company or nonprofit movie house anywhere.
Any affiliate of NPR or PBS.
